The goal of Jesse Carl Vinyl when creating the Lakeland Record Fair was to start a local event that would encourage the community to get out and shop physical music media. Having attended several record shows as shoppers in the past, owners Jessi and Tommy always loved the feeling of being in an atmosphere where people with the same interest were under one roof, shopping and supporting each other. The Lakeland Record Fair began in the spring of 2023, and has already become a staple event in central Florida. With a variety of vendors selling used and new LPs, CDs, cassette tapes, 7”-singles, and memorabilia, there’s something for everyone at this amazing event.

The hope is to see The Lakeland Fair continue to feed Lakeland, Polk county, and central Florida city for years to come. While things may vary slightly in how it’s deliver it to the public over time, the message will always remain the same: shop music media and be there for one another!
